After much preperation, here comes the day. But today took off with a morning training at 6.00am. *can you believe that*!!! and I'm expecting to hit the bed only at 2am the next day!!!
okay...so I went in for Training with my eyes half closed, having to sit in the first row...I slept. lolz. yepp that's it, simple as that. As the day hits its midway point, the intensity of workload in the preparation of G Hotels 2nd Annual Dinner increases. Here i am in the middle of a 'Wake War' fighting my way to stay awake (at the same time with the speakers babble wabble) I have the opening acts' dancer, the events company's main host for the night, the events company who is hosting the set-up, the balloon guys.....all ringing my mobile. not that i'm not pleased with them its just that I'm goin maddddddd. lolz. On top of that, my usual clients ringing my mobile non-stop! Thats the ordeal! It was written that I was incharge of solely 'entertainment' and if you were to realize, I was practically incharge of set-up (every nook and cranny you see inda ballroom is all my idea), da VIP seatings, Hannah Tan and Reymee (this I'm very very glad to have it done without complaints tho *blek*), itsie bitsie movie clips n slides to be played, launchings, flow of programme and finally - entertainment.
Okay...so the entire stressful feeling ran through my veins right from my toes to my brain; the adrenaline was so intense that i cud barely stay still without sweating. geezz...anyway, most of it is done - the Balloons are up, the entrance looks beautiful with the entire lightings all done inside the ballroom....i guess i made a good job after all with the set up. oh i'm so delighted. Whats da theme for da night? Well you chose it - BLACK & WHITE.Once overseeing the set-up was all intact, I head on upstairs for my own freshen up. There was the team members all getting ready on their dressings. I brought Kevin & Zak in...and they came babbling bout how I look *laughs* anyway, i'm all set with the Charlie Chaplin look.
Still a lil off set by the feeling that I'm da man behind all thats gonna happen tonight, my heart doesnt seem to beat at a normal peaceful pace *sigh* all I had in mind was darn...the owners are in, the directors are in, the general manager is in, celebrities are in and basically - the whole hotel's staffs are in there!
Nonetheless, the main highlight thats brighten up my day is none other than Hannah Tan. So the only thing that got me on top of my feet was eventually Hannah. She was da one who got me excited bout da whole night and to make sure I got it all excellent! Reymee of Innuendo was another peep I'd not forget who's got me attention all night as well. He's da man!
Once all da VIPs arrived and has been seated, the emcee, Mr. Gilber Khoo from GeeKay Events let it all out introducing the opening act by Michelle Quah http://www.youtube.com/michquahyoga#p/u/26/kk536HyQqcs !!! Right on, a couple of speech began followed by the introduction of the team behind G Hotel's 2nd Annual Associates Dinner - I went up along with them. Then the Dinner starts!!!

Well Hannah had her session with the staffs and then another duet with Reymee. I didnt have the chance to catch that as I was busy with da chairman for da night and da emcee on whats next in line.In and out I was invited up on stage to play some games. Theres da pic onda right. But as much as it may seem, I dont have that disease where people call it 'stage fright'. hahaha....

I was the guest last year. I'm now da man behind da whole show. But I manage to grab a plate of food and nibble at my table. I sat next to Leonard (Hannah's Team Member) with his girlfriend which was reserve as da vip slot as well. hmm....
Overall, it was a night to remember! Everything went smoothly. The whole opening launch, performance, games, the prize giveaways, the celebrity stagings - all of it went well. It was way off betta than last years dinner. I'm proud of the team behind the scene. I'm also proud of myself honestly.
Lastly, I wanna thank HANNAH TAN & REYMEE along with LEONARD for making it happen!!
I'm glad to have made a friend or two down the lane during the night. I was a night never to be forgotten by Dev Anand.
