Irresistable salmon...anyone?

Irresistable...

Those were the thoughts I had when I that meal came floating towards me. The waitress walked towards me making her way through the crowd of people. Darn...I should have taken a snap of the complete Smoked Norwegian Salmon. Theres a couple of missing egg yorks and salmon. lol -.-' What d'ya expect dude! Its indeed irresistable. Eventually, I got that in Coffee Bean. But nevertheless, you should try em.

A whole new story off 'salmon'...

Now talking about salmons, I had encounter many pronounciation problems with waiters. Not in the regular Coffee Bean I visit though. It happened in some 'ought to be a higher educational and high class' sort of restuarant. People...people...pls, I'm NOT showing off. We made a visit to that restaurant as our friends from the other side of the world simply loves the food there. Now we would wanna take them to some delicious mouth watering food place, dont we?? Its sorta like once in a blue moon. And so, I glanced through the menu, and a salmon dish caught my eye. We called for the waiter. The waiter then came and each of them made their orders till it was my turn.

waiter: What would you like, sir?

me : I would love this Scrambled Eggs with Salmon.

waiter: Come again. (giving me an uncertained look)

me : This salmon. (showing him the picture

of the salmon on the menu)

waiter: Oh. You mean saLmon (convincing me that the 'L' word has to be pronounced clearly)

me : Yeah. Thats it.

A pal of mine, Lisa and his brother Matt then gave me smile...I glanced back and returned a smile. Well I've came to this such situation once before and this was like my second encounter. And so, I decided to do exactly like what I've been through. The only difference was, Matt will continue from where I've stopped. I told him to ask about the NICOISE SALAD. Lucky me, the entire so called plot came to my expectation. The waiter told him that, 'Oh thats NEE CO EYES salad. It comes with..blablabla...' Lisa just smiled to me and Matt gave me a 'what a jerk' look to me. I controlled myself, trying my best not to laugh. That was like uh c'mon...if yer not sure whats it all about, dont ever try to be smart. Eventually, I did not laugh for some reasons. I know that in this world, there are still LOTS of dishes where I dont even know how to pronounce them correctly. Till then, it's best if keep quiet and not boast around. But lol, haha...well,

My HISTORY upon knowing this beautiful and talented lady...
When I first heard her song, Wherever, Whenever in a supermart, I fell in love not only with the tune and the way the music flows but to the voice of the singer herself. And so, I made an effort to learn more about this talented singer. I asked friends. I made searched through the internet. I made visits to music stores. Not knowing what the title was back then, I had to hum to the tune and at times I even had to sing. Ahaha...but it was worth doing so just to learn about her. As I got to know who she was, I did not hesitate to get her cd album, LAUNDRY SERVICE.

Time to move on...
Well the fact is that, I knew about Shakira before this but never thought the song was from her. From that point onwards, I started to love her. I fell in love with songs like Whenever Wherever and its spanish version Suerte, Underneath Your Clothes, Que Me Quedes Tu, Eyes Like Yours including the spanish version itself Ojos Asi, Objection and the spanish Te Aviso, Te Anuncio and Si Te Vas. Pheww...eventually, that aint all. The list goes on as I've started to take interest in her previous albums before Laundry Service. Now, it seems like theres a new album called Fijacion Oral Volume 1 and Volume 2. At that point, I'd say I love this song, La Tortura where she made a duet with Alenjandro Sanz.
As time moves on, I found myself having posters, cards, bookmarks, lifesize cardboard poster, mags and even little stuffs like keychains and badges.

What I LOVE about her other than her songs and beauty...
Born in Columbia, Shakira Isabelle Mebarak Ripoll is indeed a succesful and beautiful living artist on earth.
As my feelings towards her appearance and songs grows, I find myself wanting to attend her concert. And so, I tried appearing for her concert in Holland. Tickets seem to flow out to everyones hands but me...its been sold out. Lucky me, I did eventually turn up for her other concerts...one of her concerts, I mean.
Doesnt she have her own personality? Well, yes. I totally agree with that. Like Michael Jackson was famous for his Moonwalk, Shakira here too isnt lack of any outstanding moves. Shes well known for her BELLY MOVES now, isnt she? Whos the best belly dancer in the whole wide world??? SHAKIRA is. With all my respect, I do love your personality, Shakira.

Now is she like the hottest girl in town or what?? Back then I use to love her so so much. It hasnt change much for now but it seems like shes been unheard or has she settled down to start a family or what?? I havent been doing much of a research nor have I been buying mags lately. Havent been to her concert for the past few years. Did she even have a concert for the past few years?? That, I dont even know. Oh..!! Am I lost in this musicfreak world or what?? I know....Questions here and questions there.

I have like a few hundreds of her posters, life size card boards or whateva you call that, I have stickers to bookmarks to erasers, I have her albums of course, i made books and write about her..unofficial n not published, I have her posters n stuff like that all hung up on my bedroom. Wow?? Crazy?? Um..guess so. LOL.
THE BEST THING IN LIFE as a musicfreak
Wherever I go in my hometown, and it's like a guy or a friend of mine stumbles upon Avrils poster, they would like theres your girl. Or a TV show, I would get phone calls telling me, did you watch it? Did you catch it? Even my school teachers wouldnt have missed the hot news 'bout me...and some of them would even bring up the topic..like, 'You still love avril that much?' as time passes by. I would say, 'Yeah, o'course' ahaha.....and I would just add, hey, I love shakira too you know. Why avril all the time?

Shes like...you love her, or you dont. I love her. I'm like you love me or you dont. You tell me. These sorta people have those attitude where you could just tell whether you do love them or not at first glance.

Besides Avril, I'm soooo into people like Michael Jackson, Shakira, Vitamin C n loads more. Punk? Nah...I'm too go crazy over songs from Ben E King, Bob Marley, Ace For Base n even oldies. Oh c'mon,....a musicfreak? What do ya expect?

YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION ON ME

This is my first post of the season and guess its gonna be an ABOUT ME session. Before I begin talking 'bout myself, I would simply love to say thank you for reading my blog here.

About ME

I'm a guy whos what we call mix parentage. And come to think 'bout it, I simply do love languages. Its like I'd never fail nor would I feel bored on learning more and more languages each day as I met different sorts of people. Right now, I speak a total of 9languages. 5 of it where I'm totally good enough to converse, while the other 3 which is Korean, Spanish and French, I'm like...okay, I memorised word for word and I'm like a total lost when it comes to grammar. Infact, Spanish, I know only a couple of words...Oh no, I'm getting carried away again. Now lets talk about my interest..I love Languages, Drawing and basically everything 'bout art, like..erm..literature, paintings, music, theatre play...and I love Skateboarding, making n directing movies.

Now lets draw our attention to what I consider myself irresistable over certain foOd. I love japanese foOd, those salmon, sakes, sushis. I love Pizza, Lasagne, and whats best, Salad. Vegetables are goOd for health arent they? It seems like it. LOL. And to complete our course, not to forget, desserts. Other than ice-creams or pudding...i simply love cakes like Tiramisu and those cheesy ones. Oh...am I starting to feel like I need to be in a restaurant again? Coz I just had tiramisus last night. haha...I love it. I love it. I love it.
