A Morning Jog - Modern Days

As I went along with the tune of Jason Mraz - I wont hesitate no more..no more it cannot wait....I'M YOuuuuurrsss..! - my eyes went searching for the best parking spot. 'Ahh..there it is.' - shaded. spacious. clean. looks comfortable but its a few steps from the entrance of THE BOTANICAL GARDENS. A little walk before a jog wouldn't do no harm.

I checked the time - 9.00am sharp, it says. I took a bottle of water and my watch along with me; guess that's ALL I NEEDED FOR A JOG in a beautiful breezy morning, right?

whistling as I make my way to the entrance. Made a right turn as I decided to take a pit stop before I start my jog. Apart from me walking to the entrance, the washroom is almost 80metres from the entrance. There, I realized I'm not allowed to enter.
Standing infront of me was a big board which reads, '20CENTS PER ENTRY'.

Days are advancing. You need money to make it to the loo. You bet. I made my way back to my car in search of a 20cents and...a lil more =). With it in my pocket, I headed back into the garden.
I wondered to myself, 'What was it like during the barter days?' Guess you needed a partner to cover you instead.

I checked my watch again - 9.16am. I started jogging. Slowly up the hills. Two girls overtook me giggling as I breath frantically. Coming to a corner I was glad to see the hill is sloping down. I relaxed and let the gravity take me down the walkway. Swoosh I made my way through the girls...giggling to myself.

After two rounds, I had a rest down at a coffee shop with a coconut drink right infront of my eyes. and there came Denise's reply that somewhat sorta made me laugh. There goes my Monday morning. Next stop - Sri Ananda for breakfast.
